The distinctive dwelling of the Badjao are nipa huts on stilts in the Celebes and Sulu seas. Their livelihood comes from fishing and sea farming so they have boats docked beside their huts. Most children of the Badjao learn to swim before walking. This unique kubo is done in 18k yellow gold with sapphire windows and sits above blue sapphire waves.
